I’ve gone back and forth on this for so long… waiting for the “right time”
but life’s full, messy, and busy and I don’t think that perfect moment is coming anytime soon 😅

One of them days 🤭☕️
9 times out of 10 Im drinking my coffee cold so to grab a cold cup doesnt even alert me🤣

Tell me im not alone on the cold coffee😅 I keep getting distracted and forgetting about it, Ive been known to reheat and reheat it, my record is 4 times over 7 hours. And yes that did result in a visit to the 🚽 Do not recommend 🤣

Part 2 of getting the cows in -amatuer edition.
After moving the cows and being told we missed one 😂🫣 we've been busy butchering cows an I couldnt remember what we were down to🤭😂 we went back in search.
The creek is pretty steep down and up so I put my phone away for that🤭😅
We got up onto the flats and found her quite quickly -thankfully cause the stallion is nearby and while the gate is shut and the stallion BigBoy would be well behaved, its Yuzu who doesnt behave because he like to go parade about like hes the man and I'd rather he didnt! so the less we muck around near them the better😂
Her udder is swollen and shes looking about to calve, she was reluctant to come with us and I dont blame her. They are well used to calving in here, so we will leave her be and check on her tomorrow. Would like to get her and any calf out before the coming bad weather though

Post cyclone walks to stretch the cooped up leggies. Grateful we got off relatively lightly- a little damage to our garage; letting rain in on hubby's tools 😵 BUT -nothing that cant be repaired or replaced.
Being solar we still have power -albeit we must watch our usage over these cloudy days, however we have no running water 🥲
Inconvenient but nothing we cant manage and something we were prepared for ❤️

Once upon a time I used to ride track work on racehorses. These days the stars have to align perfectly for me to get on🤭
Im far more cautious than I once was, and im not ashamed to admit it - I need to be, I have many that depend on me😅

This is a horse I havent ridden before, shes green and hasnt been ridden in a long time. I saddled her up, walked her down the road to mount, but when she wasnt responding or listening to me at all - I made the call not to get on today.

I know her enough to know shes not always this way and I will pick a day when she isnt feeling so antsy to have our first ride, that day will come- it just wasnt today and thats ok.

Oh to be so carefree again😅
